Desalination is the process of Reverse Osmosis used to extract the salt from sea water to create drinkable water. Countries desperate for water have opted to scale up the size of these facilities to provide life saving water supply to millions. The downside of this is that this process is being done at the expense of our oceans. The heavily concentrated salt brine is discharged back into the ocean, thus locally increasing the salinity of the surrounding ocean and quickly choking out the ability of the sea to thrive and produce the way it should thrive.

Our technological advances will enable us to choose to not discharge the brine back into the ocean. Our brine will be converted into a byproduct that will be utilized in various processes. This will greatly reduce our dependency on current CO2 emitting processes that our advances will effect. As a result, this will effectively be one of the largest CO2 reduction efforts just from our brine re-purposing technology. This will not be a patent protected process of this brine waste stream. The advances we’ve made will be made available to the world after we have completed our build. The advances in design and scaling will enable others about the world to utilize these benefits. We believe everyone should have access to fresh water and food as the minimum threshold we should strive to achieve. Support us now rather than later in bringing this to everyone.
